Bayadere or Baya for short has just become a mother for the third time. Three boys, Hermes, Hannibal and Harlequin were born on January 31st 2012 and can be seen on our available kitten pages. Baya is an incomparable mother and is devoted to her kittens completely. She is also the mother of Jhalakana Giriraj* of whom we are very proud. But all her kittens are very good quality indeed.

Baya is a very elegant Bengal with a wild, truly leopard- like appearance and a stunning golden coat with multiple rosettes and of course, "the glitter". She has the highly desirable whited tummy which is still rare and something Bengal breeders want to develop in the breed.

Baya has tremendous energy and althleticism, loves to leap, run and climb as well as enjoying her favourite salmon snacks.

Baya received an Excellent 1 judgement from LOOF at the age of 8 months. The judge's comments were:  excellent contrast of colour in coat, excellent two colour rosettes, excellent head shape , look 'sauvage', nice profile, excellent balance. Due to pregnancies and being on call/heats it is not possible to show her again for the time being.

* Giriraj is now a breeding male at Chatterie de la Ribe du Pian.
